Devlin McNally Construction (DMC) transforms sophisticated residential projects into enduring, finely crafted homes. With deep construction knowledge, meticulous project management, and a hands-on commitment to quality, we ensure every project is executed with precision and care—from pre-construction through final completion.

Founded in 2006 by longtime cycling friends and carpenters Dave Devlin and Dan McNally, DMC was built on a shared belief: that exceptional construction requires both skill and collaboration. Drawing on decades of Bay Area experience, we bring deep technical fluency to complex builds and a proactive approach to every phase of the construction process.

We partner closely with clients, architects, and designers from the start—ensuring that the design intent is understood, constructible, and executed at every level. Our process is interactive, transparent, and grounded in clear communication around budget, timeline, and feasibility. The result is not only a beautiful project, but a collaborative and rewarding experience for everyone involved.

DMC has earned a reputation for creative problem solving, rigorous standards, and the ability to translate ambitious ideas into tangible results. Our extended team of project managers, craftspeople, and trusted subcontractors reflects the same values: precision, curiosity, and an enduring respect for craft.

Dave brings over 20 years of experience in the building trades, including early apprenticeships with some of the Bay Area’s top builders and a deep background in carpentry. From building bicycles in his youth to overseeing complex construction projects today, he has consistently demonstrated an innate ability to understand intricate systems and enhance them with precision and insight. Skilled at producing accurate cost estimates, budgets, and contracts, Dave guides projects from initial concept to final completion. With rigorous attention to detail, he works closely with clients throughout each phase of construction to ensure their goals are understood, realized, and surpassed.
